ABOUT CAROLINA
Carolina Pinzón MSc. holds a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a master’s degree in Dairy Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has worked in the dairy industry for over eighteen years.
She began her career working as a herd manager for a 500-cow dairy farm in Greenleaf, Wisconsin. She also gained experience in the dairy industry doing lab work at the University of Wisconsin Milk Quality Lab, developing training materials and organizing classes as a Global Training Coordinator for a milking equipment company, and supporting dairy producer training needs as a Bilingual Training Specialist for a milk processor.
Carolina is passionate about training and organization. Her credibility comes from on-farm experience, first class education, professional dairy industry experience, and excellent people and organization skills. She is fluent in Spanish and English and has extensive experience training in technical aspects of dairy industry, facilitating employee meetings, and communicating effectively to diverse audiences.

ABOUT HERNANDO
Hernando Duarte has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga (Colombia) and a specialization in Top Management from the Universidad Industrial de Santander (Colombia). In the first ten years of his career path, Hernando held management positions within the health industry in Colombia.
In 2002, Hernando relocated to the United States and started working in the dairy industry. He has worked for two major artificial insemination companies in different positions including Reproductive Technician, Bilingual Training Specialist, and Reproductive Team Leader. In these positions he has achieved excellent reproductive results, led AI schools, and coached new breeding technicians. He has been able to apply his business and human resources background, and develop the technical skills and understanding of dairy farming needed to successfully contribute to their teams.
Hernando is an integral professional with over 28 years of combined experience in management, dairy reproduction, and human development. His exceptional interpersonal skills, conscientious work ethic, and passion for achieving consistent results, have allowed him to build trust among dairy producers in Wisconsin.
